Power Protein French Toast

A fabulous breakfast recipe, this high protein high complex carbohydrate meal will keep you fuelled, active and fresh. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. A high protein meal jumpstarts your metabolism, while the complex carbohydrates keep you fuelled and going. The egg yolk in this recipe gives you a boost of Vitamin A and Iron amongst others.
 
 
Ingredients:
 
  • Whole wheat bread - 2 slices
  • Milk - 200ml
  • Egg - 1 whole
  • Power protein - 1 serving
  • Sucralose - if required
  • Powdered cinnamon - ½ tsp
 
Method:
 
Beat egg till light and fluffy add milk, sucralose, cinnamon and power protein. Dip bread in the batter and lightly grill on a non-stick pan. Serve hot.
